RA-LIN renovated this four story college residence hall, originally built in the decade between 1964 and 1975. The task was to transform a structure that had received only minor upgrades such as paint, carpet, and roof repair over the years into a modern residence hall that would attract new students. RA-LIN transformed 144 dorm rooms to house 288 students, and brought the infrastructure up to date with ADA accessibility, updated bathrooms, wireless IT, and other improvements. Windows were increased to 107 inches wide to bring in more sunlight. In addition the renovation included a community kitchen, community laundry facility, sound proof music rooms, and a movie theatre. Complete renovation was completed in one year. Bowdon Hall work was performed under a construction manager at risk contract.
