Jay Grubbs, RA-LIN’s Director of Business Development, has taken on several civic and industry association duties to support the company’s new initiative for growth in the Alabama marketplace.
“We believe that there is tremendous potential for growth in the east Alabama region,” says Grubbs. “I serve as board chairman of the Heflin Industrial Development Board, and we are part of the Core4 Initiative in East Central Alabama. Core4 is the strategic alliance of the four counties along the east Alabama Interstate-20 corridor that is dedicated to coordinating efforts to attract industry to the area.”
“We’re located just 70 miles from the population centers of Birmingham and Atlanta. We have extensive rail access and multiple industrial and commercial properties available for development in an area with Alabama’s top-ranked county school system, a ready workforce that understands hard work, and elected and community leaders that are pro-growth. This interstate corridor holds great promise and we want to participate in the growth,” Grubbs continued
Grubbs also serves on the board of directors of the Alabama Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors trade association as the East Central Alabama Representative. The ABC Alabama Chapter is a trade association dedicated to serving construction professionals by promoting free enterprise in the construction industry through education, advocacy, and business services.
